		<description>a very good question Tim.  I would say because back then we were winning the tests based on the benchmark!  Only when that changed did the value of the benchmark come into question.  Many of the tests as well such at testing not just 64b frames, but also 65b frames and such were also driven by Cisco to show advantages in specific ASIC architectures.</description>
